One police officer in Newburgh, N.Y. was shot when trying to arrest an armed man wanted for questioning in a shooting. Bodycam footage clearly shows the man armed with a silver handgun violently resisting arrest, drawing his gun, and shooting the officer before getting shot to death by the police.

No argument from me.
Very familiar with the pattern. As I said I grew up in North Philly. We had Milton and John Street, the Bobbsey Twins of Made-up Grievances and fake outrage.
It happened on Williams Street, a couple of blocks from Pete’s Hot Dog Stand. Damn! Hard to believe that in the 50s Newburgh was called the All American city. Then Mayor John Mitchell (no relation the the John Mitchell of Watergate fame) was ridiculed at a Mayor’s conference for warning of the impending problems smaller cities would face because of the then burgeoning illegal drug problems.
Viruses do not care about county lines. What's important to know is that the worst area ON EARTH for Covid-19 is any land within 28 miles of Central Park.
There are many larger cities on earth, with poorer health facilities, poorer populations, and far closer to the epicenter in Wuhan (which re-opened its subway system this past weekend)... but the NYC region (into northern NJ and western Long Island).
It's tough for a rational human being to blame Pres Trump for this worst-anywhere location, since the rest of the nation COMBINED does not have NYC's epidemic numbers... but of course that does not stop the psychotic Left from doing it anyway. This region has more cases than all but 4 nations on earth, including non-NYC-America. Wall them off, and save the rest of the nation the headaches.
I'm with you on that.
