Alex Alejandro Roubian has been attending press conferences with Governor Murphy since becoming elected. In that time, he acquired press pass instructions from the New Jersey Press Association. Per the New Jersey Press Association:
A New Jersey police credential is not required nor intended for use related to covering municipal, county or state government meetings. Nor is it for access to events, e.g. sports and entertainment. In such cases, an identification card issued by the employing news organization may be presented.
He has attended numerous events as a news reporter and questioned the governor many times. Alejandros content, videos, and articles have been watched and read by millions. But that all ended today in a crescendo of delicious hypocrisy.
The governor has completely banned NJ citizens from buying firearms and ammunition during the state-wide quarantine. Alejandro has recently attended 3 press conferences questioning the governor about this ban. At the third press conference, Governor Murphy became visibly irritated at Alejandros presence and admitted that (it) is not without dispute that his office had rejected Alejandros press credentials.
Todays press conference was different. Unlike previous days, the doors were locked. When he knocked on the door, he was intercepted by armed guards and a representative from Governor Murphys office. Additional armed state police officers surrounded him in a show of force and intimidation.
You wont believe the hypocrisy from the Office of The Governor that has denied every New Jerseyan the right to purchase a firearm for protection.
Watch the stunning footage where our statist Governor uses force and firearms to censor the First Amendment rights of a member of the press, after already denying the collective 2nd amendment rights of the entire citizenry.
This is why lynching was invented.
He'll be a shoo-in for re-election.
Guess he didn’t get the PDJT memo about guns and ammo being essential. Oh, he doesn’t CARE that they are. I see. What the hell happened to the northeast (mostly) where this country got it’s start? Rhetorical, I know. My kin folks are spinning in their graves.
New Jersey hasn’t had 2nd Amendment rights for many years.
You can’t lose your rights, but you can lose the exercise of them.
Does NJ care?
Also, (Old news) Nassau county in New York is still busting people with stun guns even after the SCOTUS ruled them as lawful arms protected by the second amendment. Their reply? “They’re still illegal here.”
I’m paraphrasing you, Dean. Hope I’m correct on it.
Trying to match CA's stupidity, it appears.
“...This is why lynching was invented...”
Gotta get close to be able to lynch.
He’s got armed NeuJersey GEheimeStAatsPOlizei around him all the time. Good luck with that.
Now enforce it.
Democrats think everyone is an inept loose cannon like 99% of them are.
Guess he didnt get the PDJT memo about guns and ammo being essential.
= = = = = = = = = = =
I still say that PDJT should issue a memo/EO telling all to breathe every couple of seconds or so.
Enough of the ‘Never Trumpers’ will die while being defiant and maybe we can clear the air and get something done.
I doubt it; long before this Chinese virus arrived, NJ was continuing its death spiral under Murphy. The Republicans may not have a good candidate to field, but Murphy isn’t very popular - he just counts on Romney’s “47%” to get him most of the way to the finish line.
The previous governor WAS a pro-life, pro-gun, anti-tax Republican.
Dems lose in NJ when segments of the 47% have a sh!tty time, and that is already happening in NJ.
Only if springboard of bon jovial say so.
you’re not allowed to say anything good about Christie here ...
“Gotta get close”
No matter how many, they all sleep sometime, somewhere. If nothing else, let staff know they should be more particular in their choice of job.
Gov Murphy: The dark side of the force is strong in that one.
“...No matter how many, they all sleep sometime, somewhere....”
Hypothetically-speaking, of course, as “research for a fictional novel” you’re writing...
Scumbags!
My respect for the police just took a BIG hit.
ML/NJ
Not to mention the heart of the American gun industry.
