I am giving consideration to a QUARANTINE of developing “hot spots”, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. A decision will be made, one way or another, shortly.
They need to do something. I've heard on the media twice now that almost 60 percent of the other cases around the nation stemmed from New York.
What really happened in Red China, I wonder.

If this flue had an extremely high mortality rate then yes but it doesn’t so no. (deaths (adjusted for comorbidity) / infections (using reading able estimate based on actual data, like we use for The Flu).
We still taking limited flights from China?
I am worried if this happens in CA. How will we pick up our daughter and move her home after her school term ends if we are in quarantine. I really hope Trump is right about things easing up by Easter.
NY is a problem because of NY leadership. Why is New Orleans another hot area? Mardi Gras. Why is N. Italy a problem? They have significant traffic with Wuhan and also decided to virtue-signal the racist Trump's edict by encouraging... get this... hugging the asians in their communities.
Trump has been taking this seriously since the beginning. Democrats and the worldwide Left have been aiding the spread. Odd that you don't hear mention of these things in the news...

Well, FL gov has ordered checkpoints all roads coming in from Louisiana to FL. Louisiana is “blooming” thanks to the moron governor (D) John Bel Edwards.... who allowed MARDI GRAS to occur. The “tavern” democrat machine at work in LA.
So that is happening. And flying into FL from NY... quarantine.
I like it. They are the ones bitching endlessly for action. And the rest of the country doesn’t like them much anyway and sure doesn’t want them spreading it to America.

It’s really a question about whether this virus poses such a threat to human life that we must — literally— threaten our replicant form of government by this action at the federal. This will set a hell of a precedent so the elected leaders must be damned sure of the facts before doing so ... damned sure because of the price we’ll pay down the road.
Some here will chafe at the loss of freedom. I have an alternate idea: Let everyone do whatever they please, but if they come within six feet of me without my permission, let me shoot them.
I’m so distraught over trying to evict a guy that is on an all bills paid lease & they shut down the courts & evictions till April 19 here in TX.
Tenant lost job we have no hope of recovering lost rent either and to top it off he’s onto our dilema and full of cheek.

We just about had him out and then the notice on courts freezing eviction cases came down and was echoed on local news
Everything travels through an electronic toll. I dont see a problem.
