WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Saturday that he was considering an "enforceable quarantine" in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area, saying the decision could come as soon as later in the day.
“Some people would like to see New York quarantined because its a hot spot. New York, New Jersey, maybe one or two other places. Certain parts of Connecticut quarantined,” Trump said as he left the White House en route of Norfolk, Va. to see off the USNS Comfort, a Navy hospital ship that is headed to New York to provide extra hospital space to help fight the outbreak.

Seems like the states with Dem leadership are the brunt of the numbers, are they all Sanctuary States, or large Sanctuary cities in thei states ? Where are all the Sanctuary Cities ???
Does this virus affect certain ethnic groups more than others, or do we know nothing of those demographics ?
This should have been done a week ago....HOWEVER...I do hope the POTUS differentiates between the NYC metro area and the Adirondacks and Finger Lakes regions.
Upstate NY does not require quarantine...other than to keep NYC out.

Well you have had weeks to shut down your subways, and chose not to NYC. So now that your situation is out of your control and you are asking everyone else to bail out your ass, guess what...NYC gets to “stay at home”.

Earlier this week Florida’s Governor DeSantis ordered state law enforcement presence at all Florida airports to detain passengers on all incoming flights originating from New York and New Jersey to enforce a 14-day quarantine. Have not heard one word more about it since then. Our question was where was he planning to hold all of the detainees? Our other question was, what are the airlines thinking, allowing New Yorkers to break their lock down orders and board flights to Florida? Wouldn’t that trigger some sort of illegal interstate transport issue?

Either I heard it on the news or I read it someplace online — something about potential enforceable quarantines being delineated at the county level.
So that may be what is in store here...

I was in North Jersey last week to resupply my mom. She’s not good with online shopping, but I can do that for her from here. I suggested she come back with me. No go. She happily agreed to Easter, but I’d have to go get her, which I will if I can.

Fox news said about a week ago that this was ‘way higher’ than regular flues- not sure how they figured that?
