The coronavirus pandemic is driving up the price of heroin, methamphetamine and fentanyl as Mexican cartels scramble to get their hands on Chinese-manufactured chemicals now in short supply.

“The cartels are having a lot of difficulty producing drugs right now, and when the supply is low the price always goes up,” a US federal law enforcement source told The Post. “China has pretty much stopped production on the chemicals they need to do business.”

Be careful out there if you have to go downtown for work. The panhandlers are only going to get more aggressive.

Another cartel is also being hurt right now. The oil cartel. I have not seen the numbers but the daily use of oil has had to have dropped.

When you figure ships and planes not moving, and millions around the world are not commuting there is going to be a glut of oil for a long time.

This is why we need guns for home protection, especially now. Usually-unoccupied homes during the day now contain residents in quarantine, so pickings are slim for addicts. Their only choice is to ‘up their game’ and do more dangerous acts. The case for gun ownership for home protection is self-defining for these circumstances.

_

President Trump deals with this by buying ‘low’ and re-stocking the US Petroleum Reserve. Until Pelosi stripped the funds to do so from the CV-19 Economic Act.

I haven't moved my car in 2+ weeks.

I need to start it today or the battery is probably going to die.

I’m sure AOC will be screaming that the bailout bill didn’t protect illegal drug users like it didn’t do enough to protect illegal aliens.

Look at it on the bright side - all those big city liberals who would never dream of prosecuting drug-dealers for peddling their poisons will come down hard on them for “price-gouging” if this keeps up!
