The mortality rate is higher than advertised. Fatalities divided by total cases is false. This is ongoing so total cases cannot be denominator. Dividing daily deaths by daily cases minus 10 days gives a more accurate picture and it’s ugly.

As the number of cases continues to grow and the number of deaths does not, the death rate falls. The slope of the death curve diminishes as well
The number of cases must be carried back to the date of the very first case registered.
