Almost every night, all of America is witness to Joe Biden's seemingly progressive mental decline on full display. The decline expresses itself in surprisingly different forms each night. It all adds up to what we laymen are certain is age-advanced dementia.
Biden can't remember words, places, or people. He recalls he was once in the "Obiden-Bama" administration and is now running for "U.S. Senate." Facts and figures are even more challenging. Even hardcore conservatives cringe with sadness as Biden slurs his way through the mental fog. So why is Joe Biden running for president, given his age and mental decline? Why? People often ask, "How could Biden's family allow this to continue?"
While grifter Hunter Biden isn't likely to discourage old Joe, what about Joe's wife of 42 years, Jill Biden? Shouldn't the good "Doctor" Jill step in and make the call to retire Joe to Florida or at least to Southern Delaware? Let's consider some questions:
Who is the one person who knows better than anyone that Joe Biden's mental faculties are in serious decline?

It completely escapes me as to just why was he pushed all the way to the top of the DNC’s list running for prez when he has obviously been mentally incompetent long before the competition started?
I really do not thing the power players in the hidden rooms of the DNC are that dumb, and that this has got to be a plan to sneak someone past the normal selection process.
Cuomo looks “presidential”, but I doubt if he’s their boy. Just who could it be? Who will save the day and be strong enough to beat Trump? (with massive vote fraud that is)

Third time? Try seven. Since 1980 Joe has actively or seriously considered running for president seven times. this is the closest he’s ever gotten.

When you are a corrupt greedy hack of decades, it's a pretty big tab to keep your tracks covered without using the public treasury to maintain the flow of hush money and threats.

I’m kind of dumb that way, I still believe in justice. Some we get to see, some we don’t. I just figured with her she spent all those years with him waiting for him to kick off, she just didn’t want the money he gritted being confiscated.
Bingo! And it's himself, his family, friends, and obligated associates. Also include the Beltway interagency minions who made his crimes possible by running interference for him. They demand protection from prosecution too. That protection comes in the form of political relevance of their influence. Think Vindman brothers times 100.
Everyone is safe from prosecution as long as Barr is AG. Unless you happen to be a South American dictator that is.

His role was as a place holder for a yet to be announced candidate.
The primary campaigns have become way too long, and way too expensive, and way too destructive. Presidential campaigns begin two years before the election. That is too long a time for either party.
Joe had (past tense) “gravitas” but he also has baggage. I don’t think they counted on his mental decline and they did not care about his baggage because he was going to withdraw just before or after the convention.
By running Joe he took the heat their real choice would have had to take. While the rest of the clowns drove themselves off a cliff.
Unfortunately for their plans Joe is deteriorating before our eyes. Being in home confinement is a good thing for them, less public exposure.
We will soon see trial balloons for his replacement (which will anger the Bernie Bros).
I watched the first half of Biden’s “town hall” on CNN last night. As soon as a question was asked, he came out with a rapid-fire answer. I’ve seen him do other interviews where he stumbled, slurred and bumbled his way through. Last nights performance made me believe that he had been provided the questions in advance and had an answer qued up on the teleprompter.

Oh, I don’t know... Joe’s about like he’s always been.
Joe stays a candidate because once he ceases to be a factor, the Ukrainians are ready to indict him when is clear the indictment will have no effect on the US election.
