Joe Biden watches from the far reaches of the upper balcony as he waits and waits to be declared the de facto Democratic presidential nominee and assume leadership of his party. The coronavirus has postponed state primaries, prolonged the contest, yanked him out of the news and left him in political limbo, where he wonders if Bernie Sanders will ever acknowledge defeat and shivers in the shadow of another Democrat, Andrew Cuomo, who didn’t even run for president.
Biden has, for the moment, been dealt a remarkably frustrating hand. Sanders is sending the signal that his battle presses on by calling for another debate. Sanders holdouts and Biden-skeptical progressives are undercutting Biden by circulating videos of his most awkward recent interview moments, a pattern of behavior vividly documented by The Washington Post’s David Weigel. In his terrific newsletter “The Trailer” he noted that an MSNBC clip of Biden “was featured on ‘Rising,’ the Hill’s populism-branded morning show, in a segment titled ‘Biden CRASHES AND BURNS in multiple TV appearances.’ ” One of the show’s hosts, Krystal Ball, said to viewers, “Just ask yourself, is that the man that you want leading this response and this crisis right now?”
Bob Kerrey, the former governor of Nebraska and senator, told me “The longer this goes on, the more likely (Trump) gets reelected.”

And all the campaign consultants and managers who aren’t going to make anywhere near as much as they had hoped.
Joe’s senility has gotten beyond the Ministry of Propaganda’s ability to cover up.

Biden is a non-factor in November. He cannot win, and he’s unlikely to be on the ballot. He was a placeholder so they could clear the field of other losers. They’ll find a way to replace him in 45 days.
So true. The RATS got Andy the Ventilator in the bullpen, but he ain’t looking so sharp. He’s starting to sound panicky and unsure of himself. I predict the next guy warming up for the Dems will be Gavin Gruesom!

Yes, The Ventilator looked good on day 1 and ok on day 2 and has been downhill ever since. Gruesome (love that name) will go down in flames too but he has to be sacrificed for the Dems twisted cult.
No Joe Biden shouldn’t be worried, he should just accept the fact he is going to lose and start thinking about how he plans to spend his few remaining twilight year.
I seriously doubt Fredo’s brother wants any part of Trump. Likely posturing for a run in 2024...if he’s smart. I doubt Dems will “waste” any potential star trying to take down the Trumpster. Trump has this, and they know it.
He knows Trump has saved all of the private communications between them.
Biden’s not worried.
He knows that “all we can do is re-elect Trump.”
Biden is going home with the honor of having been the democrat’s nominee after numerous attempts, having been VP, and having been a senator.
Offset by his reputation in tatters due to monetizing his position.
