Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign on Friday adamantly denied a newly surfaced allegation of sexual assault leveled by a former Senate staffer, calling the claim concerning the purported incident decades ago “false.”
“Women have a right to tell their story, and reporters have an obligation to rigorously vet those claims. We encourage them to do so, because these accusations are false,” Kate Bedingfield, deputy campaign manager and communications director for the Biden campaign, said in a statement to Fox News.
A former executive assistant to then-Senator Biden also challenged the account, calling it "clearly false."

Reade said that she was wearing “a business skirt,” but “wasn’t wearing stockings—it was a hot day.”
She continued: “His hands were on me and underneath my clothes, and he went down my skirt and then up inside it and he penetrated me with his fingers and he was kissing me at the same time and he was saying some things to me.”
Reade claimed Biden first asked if she wanted “to go somewhere else.”
“I pulled away, he got finished doing what he was doing,” Reade said. “He said: ‘Come on, man. I heard you liked me.’”

You make a good point, but consider: the plan laid out would make more sense if the VP Had been named and she then would step up as the candidate. W/o the VP named the doors would be wide open to even Bernie.

Definitely. Common sense tells you it probably did happen. But after all these decades it’s a he said she said.
Let’s see if other women come forward. If he really did do this I would think there would be other women. We have seen how much of a creep he is around women so we have seen his pattern when the cameras are rolling and can sort of extrapolate it to his private behavior but need more data points.
