I think Trump is always focused on Globalism and the Deep State, which I consider to be one and the same.
The virus becomes a lever to get stuff done if you choose to see it that way. “Never let a crisis go to waste” — that works for us just as well as it works for the Left.
Trump clearly wants to get out of the cycle of endless wars. Pulling back into a reasonable level of isolation is surely something he would embrace.
More than that, we need to tackle the Dark Money and the international web of debt. I think the global economy is largely a phony construct and I think the enormous economic hit of this virus, plus the draining of the swamp, will provide a chance to totally re-visit out enormous debt. I think that, economically, things will be very, very different in 5 years. And it will be much better.
I would love to see our United States of America become a DemocRAT Free Zone after this passes.

Anytime something bad happens you need to have two responses:
1. Deal with the problem and minimize the harm.
2. Think creatively about new opportunities it might open up.
Most people get stuck on 1 and never get to 2.
We should all be doing both right now.
Trump has a team doing 1. This article makes me realize he should convene a separate team focused entirely on 2.
