Waffle House closes 365 locations across the U.S.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Waffle House has now closed 365 locations across the U.S. due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The breakfast-chain announced the news on their Facebook page Tuesday morning.

While more than 300 locations have closed, 1,627 remain open.

If Waffle House wants to save an industry and re-open stores - here's the way: take the temps of every person wanting to enter the restaurant - and only allow those without a temp to enter.

People with a temp can order takeout and the food will be brought to their car.

This system allows people to feel safe eating at a Waffle House AND it safe guards employees AND it sends the message that we can and will develop a sane 'new normal' that allows us to resume our lives... and eat out as a free people - - when and where we want to...
