Early Tuesday morning, President Trump continued to signal that it is his intention to re-open the U.S. economy and get Americans back to work sooner rather than later. Repeating yesterday’s theme that the government can’t afford to implement a draconian “cure” that is worse than the China Virus, the President issued the following tweet:
Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Our people want to return to work. They will practice Social Distancing and all else, and Seniors will be watched over protectively & lovingly. We can do two things together. THE CURE CANNOT BE WORSE (by far) THAN THE PROBLEM! Congress MUST ACT NOW. We will come back strong!

For an investment community hungering to see a bottom reached in the stock market indexes, this is a crucial moment in time. There is no way the markets can find their bottom when they have no certainty – or even any real idea – about when business might resume and start getting the economy fully back on-line.
Markets were already soaring today on the prospect of the Democrats caving in and allowing the Senate stimulus measure to move through the process. The President’s move to set a firm target date for beginning to get the economy moving again will only serve to support that positive sentiment among investors longing for some good news.
As usual, President Trump’s sense of timing yesterday and today was impeccable. Be glad he’s your President.

do keep in mind that President Trump does NOT pull these things out of his butt like the fake stream enemedia wants us to believe ... in point of fact, President Trump has access to to a million times more information than we or the media have access to, and therefore makes VERY informed decisions ... it’s the main reason he’s almost always right ...
the fake stream enemedia think that President Trump doesn’t have access to all of the information in the FedGov just because he almost never says anything factual that hasn’t already been published by the fake stream enemedia ... President Trump is playing a game with them that way, and phrases his plans as “i’ve been thinking about doing X” or “I think this is going to work out” or “I think we’ll know more about what to do in 14-15 days”,when he damn well knows what’s going to happen ...
in this case, President Trump is waiting for the results of the clinical trial of hydroxychloroquine in New York that began today (Tueday), which is what the 14-15 days has been all about all along, namely when results of the trial will start coming in ... and of course, he’ll have access to that data in real time as it comes filtering in ... President Trump is expecting that trial to be successful (as most of us who’ve studied this situation also believe), at which point, with a cure, no one need worry about a “surge” overwhelming our medical system (because there’s a simple, reliable, cheap, and relatively safe cure), so therefore our country can get back to the business of business ...
