They can actually test this with antibody tests after all is said and done, and it’s why the Swine flu’s estimated death rate was revised down from over 1% to 0.02%.

I doubt the county owns the ROW that the roadways are located on.
Especially Federal/State hwys.
True, it was unusual, I belong to the group who are hardest hit by the CORONAVIRUS. 6 Autommunes. I’ve always been a semi prepper where food is concerned. I’ve gone hungry to often so y 2 young sons could eat. Getting child support back then was hard, harder still if they were Military. I wasn’t staying with a man who abused my eldest, and had tried to our newborn for having Colic. My 4 yr old HS education was already obsolete. Waited tables for $1.50 a hr and lousy tips. Factory job at $3.50 was no better, Peanut Farmer era.
Have you ever tried to ride from Penn station to Queens at 5pm...only Tokyo would rival the amount of human packing. I was literally spooning the poor woman in front of me and had nuts to butts just like the Army with the guy behind me, no one even blinked about the close contact every one just packs in personal space ha forget about it. In the summer there’s no ac in the stations I was in NYC for 2 weeks in Jan , 2 weeks in Jul and again for 2 weeks in November. July was miserable in the subways. Winter is warm ish but by no means warm. They will have a million cases by the time they finally shut down the system.
Half the dead are people who weren’t on the list of tested. So his argument is moot.
We simply have no idea how many people are actually positive, and we have no idea how many of those will actually die, and whether the people who are dying are on the list or not.
We could be missing dead people (more unlikely), and we definitely are missing a whole lot of people who are asymptomatic or have minor symptoms that don’t look like what people are looking for.
He does not have enough actual information to make an informed guess.
It seems pretty clear that there were a lot of people in New York City who were infected, and probably spread it on the subways.
