Thanks for posting the link. So CDC has not let the company test their virus killing UV system on coronavirus. Testing needs to happen asap.

They already do..sort of.
Dont remember the term but tests have been done on it on various surfaces and determined its strength as time went by in certain measurements.

“Colorado company uses UV lighting technology to kill 99.9 percent of bacteria and viruses”

Jacuzzis / Hot tubes have had that for years. Zero surprise there are other applications.

Did it get room service or was it able to eat in the main dining room?

17 days is a maximum.

And consider this statement from the article:

The virus “was identified on a variety of surfaces in cabins of both symptomatic and asymptomatic infected passengers up to 17 days after cabins were vacated on the Diamond Princess but before disinfection procedures had been conducted,” the researchers wrote, adding that the finding doesn’t necessarily mean the virus spread by surface.

CNBC is leading the charge to keep the economy crushed. This BS story is designed to sow fear and it’s timed to to make sure the market does not recover even a little. These bastards are terrified the economy will recover before November.

Pretty fast study considering it’s the CDC. Is their conclusion based on scientific or “anecdotal” evidence?

It survives but is not pathogenic for 17 days. Meaning people won’t get infected for that long.

I don’t know, someone chime in. Under the right conditions could viruses “replicate”? Like in a sealed off small Cruise ship cabin with HVAC turned off for many days?
