You are being lied to about the drugs that heal COVID19.
America's FDA, and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, are dragging their feet on approving a drug that provides very strong positive effect on COVID19.
Fauci, speaking from the White House, said on the matter of approving Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin:

Fauci is a Deep State midget. I also don’t trust Birx or Seema or any of the CDC ppl they parade up there every day. They all go way back to the 80s and have a history with PEPFAR and the money-making “Global Fund” type of organizations that supposedly are trying to “cure HIV.” According to what I’ve read recently, HIV is incurable and can only be managed, so their goal is unattainable...and therefore pointless.
Fausi is by-the-book, in that unless there are peer-reviewed, double-blind, randomized studies, it’s anecdotal. But this isn’t the time for peer-reviewed, double-blind, randomized. It’s time for “compassionate care”. Get the data later.
The problem is securing an adequate supply not relying on foreign importation.
Yeah and if Trump is proven right his numbers will soar.

Why do I have this odd feeling that if Dr Fauci was on his death bed he would want to eagerly use these meds -”approved” or not?
Bingo. And thank you for posting this article. Fauci is not what he appears to be. Unprepared for H1N1 and thousands died. Did not learn from it.
Worse yet, he is dragging his feet on known cures for corona using inexpensive medications. What is he pushing? New expensive drugs from his buddies in Big Pharma.
And what happened to the “right to try”?
open label non randomized clinical trial....
There are various types of clinical trials. Open label, or non blinded, means the patient is getting a known drug. Non randomized means no control group getting a placebo.
The results of either method would ordinarily be downplayed by the med community. They want double blinded studies with a control group. This is what Fauci is referring to when he says no proof. But we’re not talking about a new blood pressure med here.
Fauci seems to be ignoring the realities of the current situation. There is no time for a formal study, and are you going to give someone on a respirator a placebo?
Research will have to be done in real time based on promising “anecdotal” or ad hoc evidence. It will be physicians with balls and brains that solve this crisis and not bureaucrats like Fauci.
If 100 patients are crashing are given Hydroxychloroquine and 80 survive that is your approximate effective rate.
If more effective medicines are developed, Great, use them when wide available.
Simple isn’t it. You don’t need to do a 10 year study to figure this out and we don’t have the time anyway.
Not only are people dying but the economy needs a ventilator too.
Trump has put that into effect. However, I think Fauci wants to wait until every “i” is dotted, every “t” crossed to approve....which is time we simply don’t have. Praying Trump calls a halt to the insanity of locking people down and keeping them from work since we have something now which is working in 100% of cases tried.
Doctors already know the mortality rate without the drug. Administer the drugs and see what the mortality rate is with the drug. Compare, and write conclusion.

Fauci is a Hillary butt licker.
That’s enough for me not to trust him about anything he says or does.
