With Iowa hospitals and clinics facing potential staffing shortages related to the COVID-19 virus, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds has issued a state of public health disaster emergency, a section of which directly impacts nursing and nurses in the state.

I’d start them with $150,000 K per annum, minimum. They deserve every cent.
Hey, better than no nurse. By the way. How do they tell if they are the head nurse?
I’ve always wanted to play doctor but think I will pass this chance.
My father worked for a guy that started his own insurance underwriting company and then he went into small, rural towns and hired all the nurses who either had to travel an hour or so to work or who were laid off due to rural closing of hospitals.
Nurses loved it. No more direct dealing with patients, comparable wages and working on the phones and computers calling customers who applied for life insurance. One town renovated a Carnegie Library for the nurses to work.
The head nurse will step up and tell the other nurses to leave this one alone,
and something about a bone.
Nurses can give meds. That’s a big thing...and they know what the hell they’re doing.
Nurses are not paid or appreciated enough.
The why are they nurses?
I’ve no idea.
Me either so I say they get paid what they are willing to be paid. Which means they are paid appropriately.
But I suppose farmers arent paid enough because we die without them. First responders arent paid enough because the keep us safe. Teachers arent paid enough...ministers...military...
Who amongst us paid enough?
Trump’s health plan will cover EVERYBODY. Next year perhaps. I think he will let the nurses devise the plan unlike Hillary’s lawyers or the Kenyan’s operatives.
