The malaria drugs are not to be found. I heard this from a doctor, as he tried to get some, but was told that there is none in the pharmacies, nor the pharmacy suppliers warehouses. We haven’t had malaria in this country in so long, that there was little being stored on hand, and we must depend on Chinese manufacturers for the supply. You can guess where we rank on the list. We simply don’t have the equipment, to produce any domestically, and I was told it would take a long time to begin producing our own, domestically. I would presume the same is true of Italy.
This isn't true. We do make it here in the USA, but you are not going to find it in a local pharmacy at this point. Novartis has 50 Million doses in NY that they are donating to the USA, and has promised to crank out 80 Million more by May, also donated to the USA. Mylan is another US Pharma company that makes it in WV, and is ramping up production. They say they have enough on hand to produce 50 Million tablets by April. It is also made in Germany, Israel and France, and probably China and India. I'm sure there are others that will quickly begin cranking it out. Is that enough? I don't know, but it's a start. It should at least buy us some time.
There will be some anti malaria drugs in the military system, not much but some. The military goes places with malaria and have to take them.

Real QUININE is very expensive. They are using a sub, Qualaquin, there is 1 other. Not the same as a Malaria shot either,that is for Prevention, doesn’t always work, ask the Military about it.

well, you’re completely wrong, probably because you’re totally ignorant and don’t care to look up facts before just making up everything you just made, or maybe you just like to make stuff up and deliberately mislead people.
first, Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) is a 70 year old drug not even used for malaria anymore because the malaria parasite developed resistance to it.
Second, Plaquenil IS currently widely used for a variety of other purposes, including as an anti-inflammatory for a number of chronic auto-immune diseases, including lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.
Third, the U.S. DOES have the capability to manufacture Plaquenil in massive amounts: Teva and Mylan just announced that they’re gearing up to manufacture MILLIONS of doses IN THE U.S. and DONATE them to U.S. hospitals.

Actually a plant in Morgantown, WV is already preparing to start production.
The news says that the plant in Morgantown will be producing HCQ this week.
Teva in Israel is shipping several million doses to the US, and Mylan is restarting a shuttered pharm plant in West Virginia to make it. They say they have precursors on hand to make 50 million doses.
Chloroquine (distinct from the related hydroxychloroquine), from what I've read, you don't want to take anyway. It has some nasty side effects, including irreversible eye damage in some folks.
