This is the link to the Monthly Death Statistics of Italy. The question would be are they dramatically higher now.
600-650,000 deaths per year in Italy.
Or is this just a more virulent form of flu?

That list only shows Åland Islands? I never even heard of them.

very eyeopening
for US; over 200,000 each month - from ALL causes
Try using the filters
There were about 650,000- ish for 2015
Anywhere from about 47,000- 65,0000 a month
What is it currently ?
Florence Mayor encouraged citizens to Hug a Chinese !
It has to be proven but I suspect that of those deaths a large number of them were Chinese workers who came there to work in factories their commie masters were allowed to own by that Itie socialist government. By not identifying them as such, left the general impressions of rapid transmission of what I prefer to call CComHuVi (Chinese Communist Hunan Virus). That promoted this panic of fear of immediate contagion were reacting to here.
Use the filter.
works for me

Does not show results for Italy in 2019 after using the filter and also I tried just advancing with the arrow.
Put your cursor on the down arrow of the country box on left, at Italy check the box
then click apply filters.
Earliest stats are 2017
if you just go to italy and not use the second lower box but just filter the word italy you will get all they have.
“I suspect that of those deaths a large number of them were Chinese workers who came there to work in factories”
Logically, this is not the case. Since the victims were supposedly all old worthless people, they wouldn’t have been working in the factories, so they were not Chinese workers.
But looking at the names and pictures in the obituary section of the local Italian newspapers, several articles regarding which having been posted here on FR, they aren’t Chinese but rather mostly Italians shown in the 10-fold increase in obituaries. So, there is some empirical evidence as well to refute your hypothesis.
The panic is largely from the FluBros who are in denial about this pandemic. The mitigating and prophylactic actions of the governments are largely what is keeping the spread in check and the death rate down. Most places. As long as people do their part the death toll will be low enough for the FluBros to scoff and delude themselves that they were right all along.
Is “ Orientals “ racists? Just wondering where we stand with the Word Police
Probably time for a break if you are spending a lot of time reading Italian obituaries.
I was letting you know that it was down at that particular time. 8>)
Check this out it might explain why there were no death reports on Chinese

That’s as may be, but there certainly were more death reports on Italians. Chinese deaths that are not recorded would only bump up the fatality rate for the Wuhanic Plague. Ten times normal is plenty.
I wonder what they do with the bodies. If I wasn’t shunning European imports I would be avoiding Italian meat products now.

Probably time for a break if you are spending a lot of time worrying about what I read.
I’ve seen the claim that it’s all Chinese workers dying any number of times. It’s simple to just scan the obits in various articles and videos to confirm or refute. Took less than a minute.
The pre-existing condition reported here is predominantly having *ever had* high blood pressure.
