President Donald Trump joked at Thursday’s coronavirus briefing about getting rid of all the reporters he does not like, causing a least one member of the media to characterize the quip as an “attack.”
During the briefing, a reporter asked the president if he had “any guidance for Congress” after two congressmen announced they had tested positive for the virus.
Trump instead directed his advice, partially tongue-in-cheek, to the reporters in the briefing room.

Of course, the press will feign outrage at the joke, totally unaware that the typical voter will be laughing at 1) the quip itself and 2) the clueless reaction by the press.
Stop holding daily briefings. That'll get rid of 100% of them.
Watched a split screen of PDJT calling out the assclown in the meeting as being a terrible reporter. He should get an emmy for his performance of being shocked at being called out.
The White House press jackals act like a bunch of immature children. Look at their exaggerated gestures, their facial scowls, the accusatory tone of their “questions” and their ‘gotcha’ mentality.
They’re not the least bit interested in informing the public in an objective fashion. All they want to do is push an agenda and damage the administration.
The American people are seeing this disgracefully unprofessional behavior by the media for what it is.
What about the fakenewsvirus that has plagued the nation for years? Eh? Spread by contact with the tripe of these fakenews “journalistic” carriers.

Most of the media are total a-holes. Most of my news comes from here and I scrutinize all information. Unfortunately,most Americans are brain dead and can’t think critically.
I like the press briefings; but I’d like to see him limit the gaggle to just one smartass at a time. They are well known.

Donald should have a shield between him and the press! At least these scum should be tested EACH time they expect to be close to the President!
He should at the very least, they should have to thoroughly was their hands.
They should have to wear gloves and a mask.
They should have to then sit 5 seats apart..front, back and to the sides.

I agree with you totally! When Sara Huckabee was press secretary, those of us who watched regularly got a good impression of how nasty the press people were. Now because of these daily briefings occurring, everybody in the country is getting a front row view of how totally disgusting and ridiculous the press is! They are ruining what was left of any reputation they had left every day.
I heard it live on the radio! It was fantastic to hear our President bitch soap those reporters.
