Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume ripped NBC's Peter Alexander on Friday, calling his question to President Trump a "bullsh*t gotcha question."
Alexander asked if Trump was giving Americans a false sense of hope with his "impulse" to focus on the positive, and later asked what Trump had to say to Americans who were scared. Much of the back and forth centered over comments Trump has made about a malaria medicine that he hopes might be effective for coronavirus.
Time columnist David French called the question by Alexander legitimate, prompting Hume to respond on social media.
"Legitimate question my a**," Hume, a former ABC White House correspondent, replied in a tweet. "It was the kind of bullsh*t gotcha question which hack [White House] reporters have been asking for decades."
"But instead of going off on the reporter, Trump should have said the whole briefing in all its particulars was a message to people who are scared," Hume added.

So, Hume ripped the reporter, and also Trump for rising to the bait.
NBC is Comcast.
Comcast hates both us & Trump.
Comcast subscribers should demand change.
Trump was never a career politician. Those politicians practice giving smooth responses to questions and syrupy smooth speeches for decades. Trump will never be a career politician. He is brutally frank in his responses to questions.
Exactly what “we, the people” need in Washington.....

The difference between Merkel and Trump is that Merkel will lie to you in the most polite way possible. Trump will tell you the truth directly, and sometimes harshly if need be.
I would fully expect the contagion rate in huggy, kissy Italy to be substantially higher than in cold-hearted Germany.

Hume is a piece of garbage wanting it both ways. He works at the right network for doing that.
If Trump were negative or somber, the eggheads in the press would say he wasn’t providing positive leadership.
