Chloroquine isn’t the harmless pill people seem to think it is. Rarely people have severe psychotic episodes as a side effect. Murder/suicide is a little more serious than a rash.

People need to be aware that "Chloroquine" is more toxic than "Hydroxychloroquine"

Worked with a woman about 10 years ago who traveled to India (family wedding) and took the drugs that one takes when one travels to certain places. I believe one was an anti-malarial drug (I have no idea if it was Chloroquine). She had a serious breakdown and was out of action for months. Really messed her up mentally.

Yup. One of the most widely used drugs in the world with decades of use, often for years of long term consumption to control malaria, and mountains of medical data and guidelines available on safe human use and the FDA has to limit its use for an acute disease to stave off an epidemic in a time of formal national emergency.

It was Chloroquine. I have written more prescriptions for Chloroquine than anyone on this board.

That could have been Larium, generic name meflaquine. It is a horrible drug. Side-effects continue on for months and even over a year.

I'd say if you have an aquarium and a couple of straws you're all set ... then again, the stuff is likely too diluted to be effective.
