The majority of Americans approve of President Trump’s job performance overall, and even more have a positive view of his administration’s response to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic — a phenomenon that appears to be growing day by day — according to a Harris poll released Thursday.
Pollsters conducted the survey on 2,050 U.S. adults in two waves — one last week, March 14-15, 2020, and the second March 17-18, 2020. The separate polls demonstrate that Americans across the board are increasingly approving of the way the president is handling the coronavirus pandemic.

I don’t know, I’m not so sure.
The whole “this is a hoax” comment and the “soon the 15 will be zero” show a real lack of understanding and grasp of the situation. Those comments will come back to hurt him. Whether it’s in a debate, a commercial or both, he’s going to have to find a way to fight those off.
The other issue is the economy. In many ways the damage is already done. Yes, it will pop back quickly I think as this virus wanes. The extent of the recovery will be critical. If the economy lags in the wake of this, people will be pissed. And it’s human nature to want to blame someone or something when you’re pissed.
I don’t trust the electorate to make a level headed decision in that event but we’ll see.

I was never a big fan of Mike Pence in congress or as Governor in Indiana, but he is doing an excellent job leading this effort. The whole team is doing well really.
I am tired of hearing from Dr. “FEARPORN” Fauci. He runs to CNN everyday after the briefing and contradicts Trump.
Make it the last 30 years and i would have a ounce of respect for them.
Maybe even an ounce and a quarter.

Yesterday CBS and ABC coverage didn’t stay for the entire press briefing. They cut out.
Perhaps they don’t want to keep showing a competent President who is completely on top of things.

And he definitely said the 15 cases would be zero real soon. That was typical Trump shooting off his mouth without thinking. THAT he said. And that looks really, really foolish right now. He’s going to have to take a mea culpa on that one. If it’s within his DNA to do so.
As usual, he’s made life harder on himself. We’ll see.
