Jim, I understand that everyone has their own personal policy on
auto-payments from their accounts. Some differ with me, but I opted to
go to a monthly support system years ago.

Free Republic isn't the only entity I allow to pull money out of my
account. In all I allow half a dozen or so entities to bill my accounts
directly.

I review during the month, and if I see anything wrong, I can challenge
it. So far I haven't had to call anyone.

If there's one thing other FReepers could do for me, it would be to
go monthly, give you some peace of mind, and help our FReep-a-thons
be resolved much quicker.

You and your volunteers being required to process payments and hound
people for nearly the full 90days, is not acceptable.

You and they have other things to do, and you and they could be doing
them for the forum. This campaign issue sucks a lot of the life blood
(energy) out of you folks nearly all the time, and it isn't right.
