I think the last time I read a copy of Playboy, was around the summer of 1986...the edition which had something to do with Stallon’s Swedish wife (Brigitte Nielson).

I think a better alternative than stopping altogether would be to print an extra thick annual with both new and classic content.
Advertising would focus on upscale and luxury items like they used to do, avoiding high tech but plebeian stuff. Basically selling a James Bond fantasy for adventurous millionaires, to be enjoyed by everyone. Jet setting tourism in first class.

Really a smart decision. I’m a member of three nonprofit social organizations and the NRA. All have gone digital with their publications. It saves vast amounts of money just on the purely physical aspects of producing, preparing, and mailing large publications. Suddenly there’s no more printing and no more postage.
