Let’s have a Real Democrat fighting for us,” Newman tweeted Monday, including infographics showing how Lipinski’s past votes against Obamacare and for restricting access to women’s reproductive healthcare are at odds with her own support for universal healthcare and greater access to abortions."

I guess Lipinski just found out he wasn't a "real Democrat." He wasn't on board with killing babies, so he had to go. Just as blacks who aren't on board with the Dems aren't really black, and women who aren't board with the feminist agenda aren't really women.

In time, I hope Lipinski can take solace in the fact that he stood by his principles, and didn't become a "real Democrat."

It looks as if Lipinski has lost the nomination, but some of the early votes and mailed ballots remain to be counted. It will be close.

Chicago Board of Elections spokesman Jim Allen late Tuesday said 200,000 early voting ballots had yet to be counted, and a “potential universe” of another 70,000 mail-in ballots could arrive to be counted in the next two weeks.

“We’re going to be counting for another two weeks, easily,” Allen said.
