Mine has almost been in the 97s.
I used to worry when the doc told me.
He said don’t worry.
Giving a REASON would have been nice :)
I was young and never asked.
When I got older, I jut didn’t care :)
Now that we are REALLY old, any body temp above room temp is great news.
I'm pretty sure 98.6 is still normal for some.
Yeah, the doctor should have given you at least one sentence to
that effect.
“Mine has almost been in the 97s.”
Me too, mostly. One recent checkup was 96 and change. Proof that some us really are Reptilians.
Me too
although it varies under “normal” conditions 97+ is not unusual
Conversely, when I was in the kitchen, with all of the grills and ovens going full blast, I always felt warmer.
Kinda funny how that worked:)
PS: I noticed it was warmer when the sun was out and colder in the snow and ice of winter.
98.6F means I have a low grade fever. Mine has always been in the low 97’s as well. I’ve learned to go by touch more than a thermometer. Kid feeling bad and has a warm back and back of neck, means fever.
“Mine has almost been in the 97s.”
Same for me. If I’m in the 98s I have a fever.
