A Belgian doctor working to battle the coronavirus says hes treated several seriously ill young patients and their lung scans were nothing short of terrifying, according to reports.
Dr. Ignace Demeyer, who works at a hospital in Aalst, said an increasing number of people between the ages of 30 and 50 have presented with severe symptoms, despite having blank medical records that show no underlying conditions that would make them high-risk, the Brussels Times reported.
They just walk in, but they are terribly affected by the virus, Demeyer told the Belgian broadcaster VRT.
He said CT scans indicated they were suffering from severe lung damage.
The images we took yesterday are nothing short of terrifying, the doctor told the station.

Perhaps old people die quicker, young people might live, but be scarred.
“..mean that there is less than a 50% chance that the results of any randomly chosen scientific paper are true.”
So the scientific research” which is constantly being thrown in our faces about global warming and now this latest catastrophe the china virus have less of a chance of being right flipping a coin which will after a period of time land as many times heads as tails (a 50% certainty either way).
Yep, otherwise I am stuck.
For example: The worldometer is still showing we only have 12 serious or critical cases, but we also have had another 16 deaths.
Unfortunately, I think that means that we are testing people after they die, so we did not know they were serious/critical CV cases, until they were already dead.
They were certainly out to get Trump. Taking one for the team.
What did the ChiComs spray all over buildings and streets during their “lockdown”?
I suspect that experienced Doctors can look at MRIs and XRays and determine extent of lung damage, and whether or not it is permanent without having to wait to re-assess some number of months later..
‘Several Patients” don’t prove much
****What a chance to sell papers and drive ratings.****
My thoughts exactly.
News media gets paid by advertisers.
Advertisers want watchers.
News media hypes everything to get viewers to watch.
“I think there has to be several strains going around.”
You might be correct in looking at the Seattle deaths and results to basically nothing in Oregone, a neighboring state.
The deaths in Italy and Iran, unless they are age/race related are way past what we are seeing.
Any damn fool would tell you that these are likely smokers of some sort, but the title was obviously concocted to make it seem like kids.
I have no interest in these fear agenda driven anecdotes.
Instead, how about some reports on the genetic source of the Italian Wu Flu fatalities?
The article says young people. The ages are 30-50?
Any damn fool would tell you that these are likely smokers of some sort, but the title was obviously concocted to make it seem like kids.
Thanks
Nothing, but nothing seems to stop those folks. I don't believe it.
The Gorebull Warming isn’t related to any science.
A lot of this stuff is being written by those more interested in getting their names published than any validity.
Your summary is right on.
Wife has IPF. Her dad died back in 1984 of IPF. She is on hospice care, and any flu or corona virus will take her.
Me? I’m tough, but also had pneumonia a couple of months ago at 73.
Lucky I live on a small farm with all neighbors a half mile away.
Great last line, in the book!
Clearly, the patients damaged their lungs themselves as part of a political plot!
Or maybe they smoke or vape.
Interestingly Belgium ranks 7 in smoking. China is 15 and smoking along with their notoriously low air quality have been linked to their flu stats.
I would bet the first signs to an unsuspecting corona survivor would be when they get up one morning, ready to face the day with vim and vigor, and end up leaning on the kitchen table with both elbows and gasping for air.
Then they will wonder what is happening since they didn't do anything to make themselves breathless. - Tom
