CORONAVIRUS has now infected 321 people in the UK, killed thousands around the world and infected a total of more than 100,000 patients. But how many people have recovered from coronavirus?

A hell of a lot more than we think.
If assuming 100,000 people, we can estimate 98,000 have recovered if there is a 2% death rate.
More than have died, and I’d bet quite a few probably didn’t even know they had it.

It’s not “from” them, it’s aggregated by them. They just pass along what places like China reports.
I am sure that’s true, but we aren’t going to get the truth from the slime sucking scum bags in the media.

Where are the People Magazines of the world, with all of their ‘Coronavirus: the faces behind the crisis’ cover stories?
We/I haven’t seen ONE story on any survivors.
It would seem they’d want to get their stories of illness and recovery out there, to the world.
Maybe even a short section with families who’ve lost loved ones, telling their stories.
Nothing, that I have seen.
The WA nursing home story is definitely a sad and remarkable human interest story.
Maybe too early. So far, nada.
We also will never know the actual number since many people don’t even know they had it.
NO ONE KNOWS!!! Anything you say after that is ignorance made manifest.
Without testing everyone it is impossible to know how many have recovered.
An estimate could be made based on random testing of sample of the population.
If you wish to define some other denominator then name it. How many people hospitalized for WuFlu have recovered? How many people testing positive for WuFlu have recovered? Those ratios can be calculated so long as the hospitalizations and test results are properly reported. BUT they do not answer the question asked.

I would not be shocked that over a million people had it and never knew.
Following the symptom lists on the CDC site. The wife and I are convinced we had it.
BTW, I explained it to my Dr the other day when I went in for my blood tests, and he figured we had it.
If so, the SOB didnt hold a candle to the swine flu, or what the hell ever it was called, in 09 or 10. That one I hacked from mid Dec till June.

As of 11:48 PM 182,405 worldwide cases have been confirmed and 7,154 worldwide deaths. So of the 182,405 cases, 175,251 or about 96% have survived. So far at least; some of the people in the active cases will die.
