Look at my comment on the other thread. This is exactly what happened re: the sequencing of the RNA to make the virus “novel”. There’s no way that happened simultaneously with the announcement of the first case in December.

I read elsewhere some docs in China were thinking they may have seen the first cases in October but were attributing them to outlier cases.
I’m just getting over a nearly month-long bout with the flu. I never experienced anything like it. constant cough, low fever, headaches. Never worthy of hospitalization, but did take two trips to the doctor.
I wonder if we will find out Covid-19 or close versions of it have been around for many months?

The House Committee on Un-American Activities released a report/testimony entitled “How The Chinese Reds Hoodwink Visiting Foreigners” - “Consultation with Mr. Robert Loh, 86th Congress, 2nd Session, April 21, 1960, 35 pages with index.
Think of the initial Red Chinese official proclamations about the virus and denials about their biochemical warfare research facility in Wuhan, the various causes of the virus (bats, food, fungus, aliens, etc).
Here are some excerpts from the “Synopsis”, pages 1-5.
* “The Chinese Communists spend tremendous amounts of money and manpower to hoodwink visiting foreigners, Robert Loh, who escaped from Red China in the summer of 1957, stated in the accompanying consultation with the Committee on Un-American Activities.”
“Mr. Loh, who was born in Shangai, came to the United States as a student in 1947. After obtaining his M.A. degree at the University of Wisconsin, he returned to China in 1949 to accept an associate professorship at the University of Shanghai. After teaching there for two years, he became a mill manager and acted as a “showcase’ capitalist and receptionist-host for visiting foreigners in Shanghai”.
He said: “The Chinese Communists designated certain cities which were to be places the foreign visitors were to see — about a dozen Chinese cities. No other cities, only those...”
“They had a special committee in every designated city. For instance, in Shanghai, under the municipal government of Shanghai, they had a committee for entertaining foreign visitors, a special committee. Not only a committee, it is operated like a bureau. They have thousands of people working for them. They have interpreters and all sorts of personnel. Besides that, they have an International Tourist Bureau.”
The receptionists are given special training in handling foreign visitors, Mr. Loh testified. He continued.
“The Communists have made thorough investigations about the background of every foreign visitor, long before they come, so they knew their tastes and hobbies. They also know generally the kind of questions the tourists are going to ask.”

Mr. Loh stated that the Red Chinese have special hotels in which foreign visitors are accommodated, and that the personnel of the hotels undergo a training period of four to six months in techniques of handling foreign visitors. “Some of the waiters and service personnel were secret police,” Mr. Loh stated...
Visitors to Red China who ask to see the home of an “average” Chinese family are shown preselected homes operated as showplaces, Mr. Loh stated.
p. 5. “Because after each of the visits of the foreign visitors, you see, we were questioned in detail by the committee about what they asked and what we said. You cannot tell a lie to them. They will find out”.
While this was pertaining to the late 50’s/early 60’s, those practices continued unabated but updated in Red China, No. Vietnam, No Korea, Russia/Soviet Union, then Cuba, et. al.
Jump forward to Red China, Wuhan, today, and try to figure out if the Red Chinese officials are telling you the truth about the “cause” of the Wuhan Virus, where it came from, how it was transmitted, what cures they have, their cure rates, death rates, etc.
Then listen to some of our media talking-heads who parrot that same information.
Nothing has changed re communist strategies and tactics in 100 years.
Don’t believe much of what you read by long-distance writers, and not much of what “visitors” report back.
The term “Potemkin Village” was used to define fake building fronts for fake cities the Soviets supposedly built for their workers. They were “fronts” used to deceive visitors who, like the citizens in “The Emperor Has No Clothes”, believed unquestioning what they were told by officials.
Time to take the blinders off, earplugs out, and unseal our lips to question every thing “communist”, “socialist”, “progressive” or “Marxist”.
Eventually the truth will come out and it is going to be very embarrassing to many MSNBC/CNN and even some Fox commentators who swallowed the official Red Chinese line, “Hook, Line, and Egg Roll”.
When the Wuhan Virus emerged in November 17, 2019 no one knew it was a new virus not seen before.
