Rod, agree entirely. Trump has been forced into overreacting by the politicization of the "crisis." Our economy is being ravaged losing trillions of dollars. And Deep State has cemented its role as the indispensable agent for our survival. We are being run by technocrats who can't seem to do a proper risk/benefit analysis for our current approach. There are limits on how much we can spend to save one life. This is just another version of the flu and when the data finally comes out, we will see a lot lower mortality rate than is currently being touted.

Deep State is in a win-win solution. If the numbers don't materialize as predicted, then the measures we took mitigated the disaster. If the numbers get worse than expected, then Deep State can claim that not enough was done and that we need a massive investment of government funds to reform our health care delivery system to manage the next pandemic.

Personally, I am pissed off they canceled March Madness. I was down in Miami March 1-2 to attend an Eros Ramazotti concert. Not long after that Miami canceled all concerts.

In the meantime, Pelosi is erecting more Xmas trees in the form of coronavirus funding bills that include all kinds of goodies for Dem constituencies. Never let a crisis go to waste.

How come we don't know anything specific about that nursing home?

I want to know; where it is, its name, what happened to the staff, how many didn't die.

and 80% are in one state.

They should've enacted a travel ban to WA.

He really seems to be able to come back when most think he's wounded or vulnerable.

I'll tell you, even this Corona virus worried me. NOT because of the spread—I really think we can hunker down and kill this when it runs out of hosts—but because of the express purpose of “getting” Donald J. Trump.

But he came back spectacularly on Friday. Even my Leftist relatives, who I talked to this weekend, were impressed. My cousin in Massatuchetts even said she liked how he was using industry to help, like FDR in WWII!

I had a sore throat for a day, a low grade fever for three or four days, and fatigue. Dry cough. Cleared up after that. I also had the extra strong flu shot in late October. I almost never get the flu, which made this so odd. My daughter got it a few days later than me and went thru the same experience. She didn’t get a flu shot.

Why are they not posting the normal flu numbers next to the Corona numbers. Right now it is 14,000 vs 50. Which one are we terrified of?

I guess people are stocking up on items that they think they may need for two weeks in the event we are all locked in our homes.

Plus many will have their kids at home all day so more food and drinks might be needed.

Add in a large element of hysteria and thus a run on stores.

This Met the Press today....they are all blaming President Trump.

Now Ohio wants to shut down all bars and restaurants.

I think one of the staff came from China and infected the patients who were obviously end of life care. It most likely was blamed for killing terminal patients since most were over 80 or cancer patients.

The mediots claim it is the same as killing healthy people. It is questionable if they should even be counted as Corona victims.

My sister lives a few miles from there and Seattle is freaking out.

Biden said you don’t have the right to yell fire in a theater, unless you are the press where they scream it 24/7.

Good observation. I wonder if US, largely led by CNN international, is actually yelling "FIRE" in a theater comprised of the whole civilized world, because the rest of it seems just as riled up. That is why I was really fearful that China's big lie would take ahold, at least abroad.

Many of the Chinese workers in Milan are from Wuhan. The went back for Chinese New year and came back with the virus. They infected Italian citizens who were for the most part were older citizens.

I think Fauci spoke the truth. Not having the kits was a serious condition for combating this virus.

Now, the other side of it was how quickly Pres. Trump responded. The kits are now out there and a lot of people are finally being tested.

For example, up until this past week, there were NO test kits in Alabama. We also were one of the few states left with no cases of coronavirus.

I talked to a friend who works for the Alabama Dept of Public Health, and we started getting kits on Friday. Sure enough, we had our first case, a civilian government worker at Maxwell AFB (my 42 ABG!). Drive in testing started at Univ. Ala. (Roll Tide!), B’ham, and Montgomery on Friday. By the end of Friday, the new kits found 6 coronavirus cases in the state, and 10 yesterday.

So now testing is well underway around the state.

I suspect we’ll se a huge growth in the number of cases in the United States over the next few days as the testers get up to full speed.

Anyway, Trump and his team look good getting this solved so soon after Dr. Fauci made his statement.

Maybe it was deliberate? The media sure took the bait.
