These Democratic primary numbers should have Trump extremely worried
NY Post ^ | March 11 2020 | John Podhoretz

It’s sobriety time for Trump partisans who were feeling wildly upbeat in the wake of the self-destructive Democratic failure with impeachment and from polls showing most Americans expected the president to win a second term.

The primary results Tuesday night in Michigan should be setting off alarm bells in Trump Land. They are so suggestive of a possible Democratic path to victory in November that they remind me of the expert speaking in the midst of a crisis on a TV chat show in the Pixar classic “Monsters, Inc.”

He is a talking pencil who speaks with a Viennese accent as he declares, “It is my professional opinion that now is the time TO PANIC!”

Here’s why. We have been seeing startling levels of turnout in some Democratic primaries and caucuses. In New Hampshire, 300,000 votes were cast for Democratic candidates, a 20 percent jump over 2016 in a state that only went for Hillary Clinton by 2,800 votes.

How does he hate the south? I believe you, of course, just interested in what he’s said or written. I know Gore Vidal disliked his father because his father once said he had no interest in our Civil War. Vidal felt that our Civil War was the defining moment in our history and to ignore it was weird in the extreme.

The son is one of the worst “film reviewers” I’ve ever read.

Actually, it may account for a lot even if they aren’t open primary states. Stats on party switching before the primary would tell the tale...

Another never Trumper with one side of the story.

Trump got 124,000 votes and in 2012 obummer got 49,000 while in 1996 blowjobbilly got 76,000.

Compare apples to apples, Trump drew about the same total votes as bj and the halfrican fag in their second terms, unopposed elections...COMBINED.

Not sure why everyone is so angry with the facts?

I mean, yea.. I know Podhoretz is a Never Trumper. So, I take what he says with a ton of salt. But, I thought the same thing when I saw the actual votes in Michigan. There were THREE TIMES as many Democrat voters as Republican. 3X That’s a big number.

I know there were some Operation Chaos voters (R’s crossing over). But, I doubt there were THAT many.

IMO, it was a near miracle that Trump was able to win Michigan. Maybe, many more people voted in the D primary just because it was competitive, and practically all of the down ballot contest of interest were on that side?

But, 900k to 300k cannot be ignored. Trump will need a strategy that may not include Michigan and Wisconsin.

Just 2 days ago a CNN YES C FRICKIN’ NN survey showed what we Freepers already know. Enthusiasm - you know little jonnie that thing that actually gets people to the polls - among Trump voters is 15 points higher than for either The Dover Dunce or the Moscow Kid’s voters. And of course that article has been taken down even from DuckDuckGo.
But the truth remains the ass kicking that is coming will be a memorable one.

Neocons ...and no not all are Jewish live by this precept

One is Democrats have been evil from and including Andrew Jackson

Two their ideology is GOPe

Three they really can’t handle being associated with real not civic nationalism and the culture war that accompanies that

They eschew culture in favor of nation building and open borders

Four and this is the big one for me and you see it here. They are uncomfortable with historical Dixiecrats and their grandchildren as now the most dependable base of GOPe voting and think that by constantly demonizing out ancestry as evil nazi racist slavers and rebels that it absolves them of any guilt by association.

“See we’re not really racist too”

And this is I guess where some Jewish sense of fear comes in...many think it’s accurate to fear average right wing southerners with just a little push can be your next kristallnacht

Despite the fact that demographic is no question Israel’s biggest support in America

If you look at the early days of The New Republic and Marty Peretz the publisher you’ll see one branch of the origins of today’s no culture war GOPe even though Marty was a Mondale democrat

Kristol embodies this

Podhoretz as well but his dad was not as bad. His dad predates this.

For me it’s often seemed that these former New Deal Democrats from the urban north left the Dems because the Democrats became too soft on national security and in particular Israel

But despite the fact the more well known are Jewish, all neoconservatives are not Jewish...Romney for instance could be considered one as could most of the Bushes White House and so on

But make no mistake demonizing my ancestry is what they do because they think it helps them or....maybe they are just petty

Or maybe they are just uneducated. They don’t study the origins of the Civil War (except in cliched ways), they have no interest in the history of the Civil War or the effects that Reconstruction had on the south (I assume they think southerners deserved everything they got). Stephen Hayes took a “sabbatical” in Spain while I took my “sabbatical” in Alabama. They know nothing about the south except what is in bad movies and The Beverly Hillbillies.

Heh - I was thinking just that as I typed it too.

;)

Yes, they really still are out there. For some of them, their god is the fake news liberal media. No joke.

That’s why I blame it on spirit of antichrist. All of his lies make no sense to be successful, except for a spiritually-blind dumbed-down population ready to receive it.

And receive it they did. Gladly.

The Democrats RUN to evil. They have proven that repeatedly.

Look at the “abortion provider” threads with info on their evil works. It’s jaw-dropping what these people are like.

If it killed babies and granted homos marriage equality, the Democrats would vote for it.

Hollywood almost always portrays the South as bad since Harper Lee put pen to paper

You don’t like Harper Lee? It’s a wonderful book despite people’s reaction to it. She loved Alabama. I was just there in November - Monroeville I mean. Hollywood in general is a disgrace.
