We have become centers for social justice, she said in her annual state of the judiciary.OMG, talk about totally misrepresenting your actual job roles and responsibilities!

Note to homeless: RUN! The courts are going to “help” you. Move to the great plains and rustle cattle. They don’t hang you for that anymore. Ranchers might shoot you, but you can vote for gun control.

We have become centers for social justice and there in lies the problem.
Judges are supposed to interpret and rule on laws that are on the books. Not make them up to fit the populace

she will appoint an "advisory panel" on how the court system might better help the state address its growing homelessness crisis. As several posters already pointed out... having the court tell the executive and legislative branch what "they ought to do" will not go well.

Searching for clues. She feels the urge to prove she is ineffective, irrelevant even, in the effort to control tent city squatters.
They are not homeless...... their homes are tents

Tani has obviously decided to overstep her authority. This is not the job of the courts. Get a civics book, IDIOT! Somebody needs to remind the ditz that she is NOT God. She is also not very bright.

Someone needs declare this individual an enemy of their state and use an individual social justice execution warrant. Seems logical since the judge has basically said she has revamped the entire fabric of government.

"well, that's freaking terrifying."
If you have a large house and your not using the bedrooms upstairs they just may be considered "surplus properties to be used for shelters or housing." You and the folks living in your house with you can take turns using the kitchen...
That scenario was in one of Matt Bracken's books... Welcome to the new world... :)

Most mental institutions were closed decades ago after the massive maltreatment of patients was exposed.
Its very hard to establish and maintain trained, caring staff.
