One thing I will never understand, is how everyone in Hollywood professed to be shocked, just shocked, when the news about Weinstein was revealed. Then we saw how years before, sitcoms and jokes at the Oscars about Harvey Weinstein were told. It makes it hard the believe that nobody knew about Harvey and undoubtedly others , who preyed on people.

It is sad to think, that others just like him are still at work in Hollywood.

One amazing thing about predator Harvey Weinstein is that a number of women who passed themselves off as concerned with women's issues and fighting sexism, support him:
He and Hillary are/were buddies.
Former prosecutor of sex crimes turned mystery writer, Linda Fairstein (sp?) came to his defense.
Lawyer Lisa Bloom (daughter of Gloria Allred) came out swinging in defense of Harvey Weinstein and attacked his accusers.
Actress Meryl Streep called Weinstein "God" and claimed she never heard anything negative about him.
