Once upon a time, it seemed possible that the Democratic Party would nominate a candidate who wasn't another older white man. Not anymore.
Is there a better time than the start of Women's History Month to tell women that the latest womans bid for the presidency is, well, history? We began the race for the Democratic nomination with a record six women candidates, and now were down to - well, not counting the unviable, unreliable Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D- Hawaii, who was always less likely to win this thing than anyone but Marianne Williamson - zero.
Remember that one flickering moment on Nov. 6, 2018, feeling something akin to hope, when 125 women were elected to office? It came on the heels of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton having earned nearly 3 million more people's votes than Donald Trump in the presidential election; a woman winning the White House had been within reach if not for the Electoral College. Many voters - not just women - appeared excited by the prospect of putting a woman in the Oval Office, like it was the perfect antidote to the misogyny of the alleged-sexual-harasser-in-chief.
That's why the erasure of Warren - the smartest, most thoughtful and arguably best candidate for the presidency, with a plan for damn near everything - stings so much.
Voters have spoken, and were marching backward because - didnt you know - now is not the time to select a woman to run against an unpopular, corrupt and impeached president. We need a fella for that.

“...a woman winning the White House had been within reach if not for the Electoral College”
Yet they forget how Hillary got the nomination in the first place. Bernie had won the popular vote and should have had more delegates, but Hillary used the Super-Delegates (their version of the electoral college) to get her the nomination.
Did she support Sarah Palin?
So Trump is unpopular, corrupt and impeached? 3 strikes shes out.
Just another disgusting gender chauvinist rooting for her team.
“the smartest, most thoughtful and arguably best candidate for the presidency”
OK, now i’m confused: I thought Hillary was the smartest, most thoughtful and arguably best candidate for the presidency ... oh, i get it now, ANY female running for President as a DEMOCRAT is the smartest, most thoughtful and arguably best candidate for the presidency ...
NBC is Comcast is an American enemy
Kera is NBC
Kera ia an american enemy
QED
I was surprised Warren dropped out - wonder how her supporters will split between Bernie and Senile Joe...
Poor thing. Can’t have her dream of a woman president. Too flipping bad. Next time find one who doesn’t hate the country and doesn’t yell and scream trying to act the way she thinks men act.
Warren was not the best candidate for the presidency.
“Once upon a time, it seemed possible that the Democratic Party would nominate a candidate who wasn’t another older white man.”
Hey Kera: Older, SENILE, white man
“Yeah, darn that pesky electoral college.”
You mean those awesome forefathers of the country who envisioned this commie crap in the future?
Amazing, isn't it? It's almost like they had a crystal ball and knew what could happen.
I am pretty certain that microphone is about the only thing she holds that doesn’t go limp pretty quickly.
Good, stay home then Kera Bolshevik!
LOL
GMTA!

I don’t think you want to trust a liberal making you a sammich or any other food product. Kinda like Muslims, if you get my drift.

I did hear she makes a fantastic cold omelet with crab meat and that she was kind enough to share that original family recipe with the other members of her tribe in their Pow Wow Chow historical recording of Native American recipes.
It is theorized they developed the recipe along the Trail of Tears as often all there was to eat was fresh salt water crab they would catch along the way as they travelled through the Ozarks.
