I’m going to call California for the President. With 100% of precincts reporting he has 1.45 million out of about 1.9 million cast. He bested a field of 7, with almost 93% of the vote. Saliently Zoltan “Zoltan Who?” Istvan received 4875 votes, or .3%

From the state by state totals, it looks like Trump got about 8 MILLION votes last night. In 1996 when Clinton was running for re-election he received about 10 MILLION votes for the entire primary season. In 2004, Bush2 got 8 MILLION votes for the entire primary season. In 2012, 0bamma got about 7 MILLION votes during the primary season. It looks as if Trump is on track to set a record for the number of votes received in a re-election primary seasaon.

It was pointed out this morning that the Trump total occurred when there was no TX statewide Pub seat at stake (Sen. Cornyn an incumbent was on the ballot but not seriously challenged.)

Fifteen years ago, 635,948 Republican Texans voted for then-President George W. Bush in the 2004 Republican primary. In 2012, 520,410 Democrats voted for then-President Barack Obama in their primary.
Bush 635,948
Obama 520,410
Trump 1,871,515

Don’t count it out. Latinos went heavily for Bernie. If Bernie isn’t the nominee they may look at weak Biden and stay home or go Trump.

Now this is good analysis.
Unopposed Incumbent primary turnout.
Defiantly shows GWB weakness in 2004 which matches how the Base was angry at him in 2004.
