Pie in the frickin sky. Unfortunately.
I hope PG&E cuts their power on Election Day.
“Given the Golden States deeply entrenched Democratic bastions, is it even possible that this state is in play?”
No. Next question.
Trump might have a chance if he goes to LA and SF and takes a dump in the street like everybody else . . . you know. . . assimilate and be one of them for just a bit . . . . /sarc
In a word, no.
Hillary won 61-31 in 2016.
California has undoubtedly gotten more “blue” in four years.
So I’m saying it ain’t gonna happen.
The author has well and truly jumped the shark. I guess if you’re gonna dream, why not dream big?
Trump winning California would be highly unlikely to put it mildly. The Communists and illegals have completely overrun that state. But it would be worth Trump swinging through there a couple times to help down-ballot Republicans in House races and maybe a few local races.
Silly.
Joseph Stalin could win in California.
Daniel Ortega could win in California.
Fidel Castro and Mao Tse-Tung as well.
Donald Trump could never in win in California
...and neither could Ronald Reagan today.
If that would happen, I promise my husband will be one happy guy election night.
No because you will never over come the voter fraud in these dark blue states
It won’t be because Bernie is a socialist. California apparently loves it and can’t get enough of it.
Just the effort of Democrats having to spend money to defend “their turf” could be devastating.
A special kind of stupid...................
Not gonna happen, but nice to fantasize anyway.
...if not, then take away half of California's 55 electoral votes.
I believe President Trump should make a play for California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. In addition to the states, he narrowly lost. Make the dem candidate have to try to keep up and spend money in places they consider a lock.
Speak to the issues that are on the minds of the peoples of those states and which serve to highlight dem incompetence and overreach.
No need to spend huge ad buy monies. Targeted ad buys and rally’s in those states will force the dems to spend money they had not planned to spend.
If Trump advisors convince him to waste time and resources in California as we approach November, it can only mean they see an absolute rout in the works and have nothing better to do. So I hope it happens.
The only way it happens isn’t so much from cross-overs, but from Dem voter apathy: non-voting as a protest against AB5.
I understand the realism, but thanks for the defeatism to go with it.
