Maybe Chris has been making his coworkers angry for years, and things just came to a head with the Nazi remarks.
He had a long career anyway.
I predict Chris will pop up, weasel-like, on some other network late this summer.
It’s frightening to think that Matthews wasn’t Left enough for them.
Well, color me shocked! but extremely thrilled.
Chrissy Matthews has been drunk on the air more times than he has been sober. If you watch the Friday replay where he could not identify the South Carolina Senators, Matthews was completely plastered.
Don’t forget Chris Matthews was a long time drinking buddy of Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd - those guys drank booze by the gallon.

Uhhh no, apparently many missed the recent accusations that female Hardball guests logged in regards to unappreciated comments he made in regards to their physical attributes. That was the final straw.

I just don’t understand people like your Dad. They seem to believe that the Dem Party has not evolved from the 50s. Voting for a Dem is tantamount to voting for Stalin or Castro these days.
I’ll miss his commentary. I remember watching him back in the day. Like him or hate him he tried to keep in balanced back in the day. Not so much during the Obama presidency though.
