The Trump administration Saturday announced additional travel restrictions affecting Iran, Italy and South Korea in response to the coronavirus outbreak following the first death from the virus in the United States.
Vice President Pence said the existing travel ban on Iran would extend to foreign nationals who had been in that country the past 14 days. The State Department also is increasing its warning advising Americans not to travel to parts of Italy and South Korea affected by the virus.
Right before the White Houses news conference, health officials in Washington state confirmed that a person diagnosed with coronavirus in King County has died.

But that tells you nothing. It was an over 300 point swing for the day. And over 200 point swing in 15 minutes.
That said, China PMI will be the next focus in less than 24 hours.
Wow, someone died. I’ll bet all the chicken littles are relieved now.
Why is it the CDC’s job to send out test kits?
That was sort of my point, but thank you for providing the extra info.
I was right there during all those swings...Dramamine week in the markets...
I dont know which way it is going to go but I expect more violent moves.
Part of Friday 3:45 pm had to do with option expirations. That was a violent move.
I don’t have the stomach to wait until Friday to for option expiration...Fortunately, I had none due!
Adam Schiff is a snake.
Well, the Clinton machine has subsided lately. Nobody killed by it since Jeff Epstein.
I guess you have not heard these flights you want stopped were stopped this afternoon.
I’m hoping and praying that America and the world are going to do what is necessary to contain this, but I really get ticked off when people compare the infancy of the brand new virus to yearly flu statistics. I remember being taught the double a penny for a month equation as a child and know how quickly things can get out of control. This is serious and needs to be dealt with. While I don’t like to see carnage in the stock market, I’m glad that everyone is now being made aware that there is a serious problem that needs to be dealt with. In fact I’m worrying less now that I know many others are worrying more.
I read the other day that a psychologist who testified at Weinstein’s trial was hit by a car and I think died.
And not long ago a Dem IT/research guy (NAME??can’t remember) who testified in Congress about Gulagle helping Hitlery get votes became a widower. His newly wedded wife was killed in a car accident. He didn’t seem to think it was actually an accident.
Car accidents is their new MO, then. A lot more plausible than hanging oneself.
Where ?
I would love to read that story .
I just read the state dept issued warning not to visit Korea and Italy .
Nothing else .
They banned Iran which has no direct flight to the US anyways
A state dept warning to not go to Korea is a joke.
Car accidents are just another tool that have been used for a long time. I remember reading about a Clinton body count death that involved I think it was a Corvette that went pedal to the metal until crashing. Can you imagine driving a car down the road that was sabotaged to accelerate?
We have who friend was about to leave for Korea she was told this afternoon her flight and all flights to there are cancelled. That is what I am going by.
It is truly sad he died.
