Clod-Butcher nowhere to be found. Is she just hanging around hoping for the VP slot?

She was in Maine today aiming for our 24/8 delegate votes.

I saw that!
And 52% didn’t vote for the primary winner.
This points to a total blow out for SC from low Democrat turnout and Trump support.

527,725 votes cast based on the totals. Probably blank and non-responsive ballots add to the total turnout.

The President said today at CPAC something to that effect - except he said that Biden would be sleeping and others would run the government.

Really? You don’t say? My comment was about the calling of an election before actual votes were counted.
This is a practice that should be outlawed by a revision of election law.
Calling an election before a single cast vote has been counted based on the input of a subgroup of people that choose to talk to reporters is not something that should be allowed.
Your response which was just plain juvenile and rude is typical of leftist people from California and, the reason that your state is in a state of irreversible decline.
The Golden State has become the Shithole State. Literally.

I have to say I'm not very afraid of Biden at this point but I don't know man. If Bernie is really, as I suspect, appreciably less likely to beat Trump and will hurt rat chances of keeping the House then it would hardly be a "short-term" benefit, would it? Though Sanders getting clearly robbed (unlike last time when he in fact clearly lost) is also an interesting possibility.

McGovernesque is a fantasy but there is real chance he could have a Bryanesque performance in November.

Normally I wouldn't even consider it but with nothing at stake for me in the Illinois primary but a bunch of gleeps vying for the right to lose to Durban, I'm leaning in favor of taking a rat ballot and voting for Sanders (and against the SA who let Jussie Smollett off). I think primaries should be closed and I would never actually register as a rat to save my life but hey, they are are wide open in Illinois.

As for this result in SC, well gee I didn't know James Clyburn had this level of influence but I would say it was the only reason Biden did so well.

Bye bye Steyer.

I don't think this means much for Biden in other states. The decline of Bloomberg is a bigger factor helping Biden on Tuesday.

Word is Biden wants Amy and Liz to stay in to keep Bern from taking all the delegates in MA and MN.

Your point is a good one.

On a national basis, there should be NO reporting of results, projections, or exit polls until the last polling places are closed.

And that means Hawaii too.

The libs are always accusing the right of “vote suppression”. Well, the MSM’s election night extravaganzas do exactly that.

The MSM will go nuts if anyone proposes this. Boo hoo.

“I would never actually register as a rat to save my life but hey, they are are wide open in Illinois.”

I think that’s true here in TN. IIRC, when you check in they just ask you which ballot you want. I could be wrong. Will see on Tuesday. I’ll have to think about doinf Operation Chaos.

The only reason I’m a little torn on pulling a Dem ballot is there’s an actual race for Congressman in my District and one is better than the other. Although either of them would be much better than Casten.

The short-term benefit is an easy win in NOV.

Long-term, it strengthen the left.

You have more faith in idiotic voters than I do. Good for you.

There was no “comfortable” margin with Trump. He barely won the states that put him over the top and there is no guarantee he will win them again. There are so many leftists in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania that it cannot be assumed he will win them again especially given the 4 years long media war against Trump.

A sobering thought: winning Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina plus the solid R states is NO LONGER ENOUGH. The R’s have lost Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, and Virginia. We HAVE to win another big northern state now to get to 270. The formula for an R to win nationwide now is the usual R states in the south and midwest + Florida + Ohio + at least one of Pennsylvania, Michigan, or Wisconisn. If Trump loses one of those three states, he might could scrape through with winning Minnesota + New Hampshire but those usually don’t go R.

But only for 30 seconds.
