She has a dual major in Economics and International Relations, yet recently she was talking about the renowned economist Milton Keynes.

No one with an actual Economics degree would get that wrong.

The problem with getting into a debate with an idiot is that after a couple minutes nobody can tell you apart.

The MIT Tech Review had Bono on the cover a decade or two ago.

Totally jumped the shark, but remain proud of their anti-science orientation.

Ask her what the content of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere during the Carboniferous Period? It was very high and the Earth is still here.

I think her “accomplishments in microbiology” refers to her high school science project ... LOL.

Or maybe something that a ten day dose of penicillin from the college health clinic took care of.

Question to her: When did the Cold War begin?
Her answer: “ I don’t know the exact year, but it was in the winter.”

And that’s about par for the course for the average person who claims to “accept science” regarding the climate, regarding religion, regarding pretty much anything in dispute. None of them have any background in science or have any real understanding of the basics. I’ll admit it isn’t my strong suit either, and I am not proud of that, but at least I know when I am out of my element and keep my mouth shut. I have other areas of expertise and I am fine with that. But these people are like those who claim to believe in the Bible, but never read it and and know little about it.
