Tuesday was another day in another city, another time to reintroduce himself to his home state and maybe capture some votes along the way.
It hasn't been this way for Jeff Sessions since the beginning, this constant touring of Alabama soliciting support after Alabama elected him four times to serve as their senator in Washington.
And now it seems Sessions, after 20 years in the Senate, is back at the beginning.

Jeff Sessions was an EXCELLENT senator he was in way over his head as AG!!!
Bradley Byrne supporter here.
I think he got overwhelmed. He had his gig for years, his own little world so to speak and then when Trump got elected, 2/3 of everyone he’d dealt with for all that time suddenly changed and the intel agencies got involved. Kind of like a good young man getting interrogated by the cops. He freaked and said yes sir, no sir while trying not to pee himself. Personally, I don’t think he could handle AG of AL these days but he’d probably be fine back in his senator role.
For once I wish we republicans could use our heads when voting instead of invoking purity tests.
Sadly, Senator Shelby does not feel that way and barnstormed the great state of Alabama defacto campaiging for progressive Democrat Doug Jones in 2017.
Why do “purity” tests apply only to conservatives?
Tuberville and Byrne are open borders “pro amnesty” RINO’s.
I supported Roy last time. The RINO’s destroyed his chances.
I’m sitting out the first round to see who makes the runoff.
It’s long overdue for Jeff to retire but i think he wins easily. It’s a good one to watch closely cuz its worth spending if Tubesteak or Bryne makes the runoff. I can live with Jeff - at least he’s good on immigration.
Bryne is the one McConnell ,his superPac and NSRC are backing.
sometimes the Dems in republican jerseys are more dangerous.
Richard Shelby is the Mitt Romney of Alabama politics. That miserable JUDAS can die in a grease fire for all I care.
That sounds about right to me.
thanks
For a guy with so much experience, he sure got snickered by deep state operatives easily.
