Openly-gay Democrat presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg says he supports religious liberty – but, “not past the point where it is being used” by religious organizations to refuse to hire or serve LGBTQ people.
“That freedom ends where you begin to invoke it to harm other people” who violate your organization’s religious doctrine by not hiring or serving them, Buttigieg told a CNN town hall on Monday.

Think back to 2013 when the BSA volunteer delegates (>1000) from 250+ councils across the nation voted at the BSA annual business meeting to admit openly homosexual youths as members.
BSA official statistics from then showed that 72% of all units (Packs, Troops, Crews) were chartered to religious institutions, i.e., temples, churches, and masjid (mosques). The top 3 religious institutions with the most chartered units were (1) CoJC&LDS, (2) UMC, and (3) RCC.
The BSA National Executive Committee (~27 volunteers, virtually all Fortune 500 businessmen) convinced the national leadership of all 3 of these religious groups, about 4 months before the vote, that openly accepting homosexual youth membership was the thing to do to be on the right side of history, and they tacitly went along with it.
Q: Who/ What "got to" the corporate board rooms across the land to accept/ normalize homosexuality?
A: (1) The Human Rights Campaign, founded in 1980 and ...
(2) university professors
The infiltration started when local United Way chapters on both coasts and the upper midwest started denying funding to local BSA councils because of its prejudicial membership policy against homosexuals. Corporations loan some of their management members to the UW to help with solicitations of employees.
Local public schools in liberal areas also instituted non-descrimination policies which effectively discontinued these schools from chartering BSA unites, especially Cub Packs.
And then it snowballed ...
Thus sayeth a man with absolutely zero authority to back it up.

Yup, just about the same time the radical lesbian pastors started to take over the non-denominational churches. I lived it first hand. I was lucky, both my boys attained eagle before the total meltdown.
This is not just about hiring. . .this is about making it illegal to represent Judeo-Christian morality. It is about giving authority to government to deem which religious beliefs will be approved and unapproved. It is about exposing Christians to legal consequences for promoting their religious beliefs and the values that extend from those beliefs.

The Equality Act (Sec. 1107) which Buttigieg supprts, explicitly disallows the Religious Freedom Restoration Act from providing freedom in cases such as what gender one is addressed as to which bathroom one can enter or in hiring etc. for places of public accommodations, and "any establishment that provides a good, service, or program..."
Since Buttigieg stated that “That [religious] freedom ends where you begin to invoke it to harm other people” who violate your organization’s religious doctrine by not hiring or serving them," it means that "harming" those who obey the Bible is what Buttigieg advocates.
