Iconic disco group Village People issued a statement on Monday declaring that President Donald Trump is welcome to their music at his rallies after left-wing activists demanded the group ban him from using their music.
Village People’s classic song “Macho Man” played as Trump entered a raucous rally in Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, on Monday. The president has also previously used the band’s iconic 1978 hit “Y.M.C.A” at various campaign events.

The left is always in an outrage about something. They’re professional outragers. The more they’re outraged, the better sane people should feel. They’re outraged so much that no one really gives a good shite anymore.
In reality they probably don’t own their own? music.
Some company probably owns it.
But they probably get royalties.

That music has been ubiquitous and out in circulation for so long, I would think it was under Public Domain.
Songs like “Happy Birthday” or “We Will Rock You!” are sung when people chose to sing them.
At the Phoenix Trump rally, they played both Macho Man and YMCA. We danced and sang to both!
They also played Al Green, Barry White, Rolling Stones, Guns N’Roses, Michael Jackson, Lee Greenwood, and Frank Sinatra.

OK that’s spilling into worship, which I see a little too much of around here lately...and I only worship God :)
But yeah he’s a pretty open minded guy.
His religious beliefs don’t spill into the fine line of judging/hatred that causes many to go there.
He’s a good man. Maybe even a great man.
But only One Man has always loved everyone.
Hopefully I will meet him at the end.
“You can’t play my music” has to rank as among the stupidest business decisions ever made.
The Village People are probably grateful that they’ll get royalties out of the performances because mostly their career tanked some time ago and ticket sales on revival/retro concerts aren’t doing real well.
