The incidence of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) was 14.8%, the incidence of abnormal chest CT was 95.6%, the proportion of severe cases in all infected cases was 21.3%, and the mortality rate of patients with 2019-nCoV infection was 4.8%.”

ok-so China death rate is higher but a lot of that may be organ failure and sepsis and we are much better with lower fatality on those. Google Dr Marik sepsis protocol which is having success. By then you could compare the dead/resolved outside of China. The dead were very low initially, but since have have been growing rapidly compared to recovered - even excluding Iran as a country that probably has no idea what it actually has.

I'm not re-running numbers now, it's late. But as of a day or two ago, the Chinese numbers were I think 9.1%. The non-Chinese number was 15%.

As of the hearing today, the non-China fatality rate is about 0.5% according to House witness testimony.

And where are they sourcing those numbers from? Because the Johns Hopkins ones are the most accurate ones I know of, and they certainly don't come close to 0.5%, not at all. Even using incorrect math (85 deaths / 5900 cases), you get around 1.4% fatality rate.
