Why don’t Republicans stand and fight this crap? Everyone wants to run away, join another state, move to Texas, or whatever. If your state is overrun by leftists and you have no voice, don’t friggin comply. Tell Salem that they are persona non grata and you will not abide by any of their Marxist laws. BTW, there should be a movement to make it easier for areas to become their own states.
The best course of action is to tell Salem to pound sand, you're not paying taxes or abiding by their leftist policies anymore.

Exactly. Can’t keep running away. Besides, if Bernie wins, every state will be California (or worse).
For once the Repubs are fighting. If they show up the legislature will have a Quorum and can pass whatever they want. The only way the Rs can stop any legislation is to not be there. The dems have a supermajority in the legislature but according to the Oregon state constitution two-thirds of the total legislators have to be present.
Part of me say let them show up and pass the cap-and-trade so Oregon can suffer, but the Repubs are at least trying to prevent it.
This is Oregon R’s standing up against the Marxist dems...denying them a quorum is the best they can do right now...I support them.
Trump won in Marion County. This includes Salem, the capitol city. There is a large hispanic population. This county was really representative of the state which tells me that underhanded ballot counting was going on in the only 3 counties Trump lost. These counties- Multnomah, Washington and Lane counties are filled with leftists. Trump won the other 36 counties.
Republicans will not win until the mail in ballots STOP. You must write your name on the back of the ballot. What kind of horse shit is this?
Oregon does not need to make a new state with Idaho. Monitoring ballot counting and no more mail in ballots would solve the problem.
