Democrat presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg claimed on Sunday that “100 Americans” are “killed by guns” every day.
Bloomberg made the claim in a tweet, writing, “100 Americans were killed by guns yesterday. And the day before that. And the day before that.”
Bloomberg’s claim swells gun violence deaths by 66 percent by lumping together suicides and homicides, then reporting in a way that leads readers to think it is all gun violence. Although inaccurate, Bloomberg’s claim is in line with what numerous Democrats running for president have said, including Hillary Clinton in 2016.
On April 11, 2016, Breitbart News reported that Clinton swelled gun violence deaths by 66 percent by reporting them in a manner similar to Bloomberg.
Former Democrat presidential hopeful Kamala Harris framed gun violence almost exactly as Bloomberg did:
The claim of 100 deaths “by guns” every day translates into 36,500 Americans “killed by guns” each year. Presenting gun deaths in this way allows suicides and homicides to be lumped together, then all of it reported under the heading of gun violence. 37,000 automobile fatalities a year, divided by 365 gives us 101 per day.
2/3rds of the gun deaths cited are suicides. Leftists love suicide...if the state does it.
Also, I’ve actually seen gun banner op-eds with reducing suicide and magazine bans linked. Because committing suicide requires 11 rounds...not (excepting Clinton-induced suicides).

I am not in a position to challenge his number. However, most of those gun deaths are criminals killing criminals. He has yet to propose a gun law that will stop this. All of his gun laws would penalize law abiding citizens because the criminals would continue to ignore his laws.
Overwhelming majority of gun deaths are suicides.
Guns killed 39,000 people last year. He wasn’t that far off.

At 100 deaths per day, it will take 400,000 days (1,095 years) to equal 40 million people.

About a million and a half Americans die from abortions. Particularly at the behest of corporate types like Bloomberg who tell inconveniently pregnant employees to just “kill it.” After all, all “it” will do is to eat and s**t.
