The Trump White House and its allies, over the past 18 months, assembled detailed lists of disloyal government officials to oust and trusted pro-Trump people to replace them according to more than a dozen sources familiar with the effort who spoke to Axios.
By the time President Trump instructed his 29-year-old former body man and new head of presidential personnel to rid his government of anti-Trump officials, he'd gathered reams of material to support his suspicions.
A well-connected network of conservative activists with close ties to Trump and top administration officials is quietly helping develop these "Never Trump"/pro-Trump lists, and some sent memos to Trump to shape his views, per sources with direct knowledge.
Since Trump's Senate acquittal, aides say the president has crossed a psychological line regarding what he calls the "Deep State." He feels his government from Justice to State to Defense to Homeland Security is filled with "snakes." He wants them fired and replaced ASAP.

Insubordinate....not disloyal.
heck, our area elected a new sheriff (demonrat) after old sheriff retired a yr ago. Employees are still jumping ship.
<>Radio talk show host Chris Plante for press secretary.<>
“This is fabulous. However, Im addicted to Chris Plantes radio show.”
Ditto. But, for the greater good and for what we know will be very entertaining briefings, I’m all in for Plante. He knows the media beast, especially fake news CNN and will call them out.
Have said it all along.
Just think how far the PDJT admin could be and how much better off we as Americans could be if, one HRC was prosecuted day one and these deep staters were started to be removed in earnest from the get go.
And the term, "better late than never", is all BS
If there are fewer than 10,000 names on the list it’s not long enough.
Amazon’s book section by ex-Deep State authors is going to double.
Chuckle... Axios says this like it’s a BAD thing.
It NEVER a bad thing to put dug-in Obama moles out of a job.
About damn time, this should have been going on in Feb. 2017.
They have now self identified............................
Trump did this the right way.
Way past time. I hope that there was a reason for this longggggg delay.
Yup. Fire her. Clarence Thomas will have to get a new wife. If he doesn’t like it, fire him./s
The fascinating thing is that prior admin officials and reporters, spouses, folks behind the scenes, etc, etc... met just as if not more often to coordinate personnel, messaging, and strategy. Not sure what the big deal is, other than the folks doing it 2015 were the “good guys” and the folks doing this now are the “bad guys”. Axios could have saved us all a few minutes and just made a one paragraph blurb about this.
I just talked to a woman yesterday whose husband recently retired for the DOJ.
He didn’t say anything nice about Trump but at a meeting he stated that our job is to be apolitical. He got demoted!!
She is NOT working against Trump; she was hard at working weeding out the bad guys and gals long before now but unable to make it happen under the gatekeeper left in places.
That snake kept lots of Obama spies in place to obstruct Trump at every turn.
Glad to hear it. So I guess Trump won’t have to fire Clarence Thomas;-}
Ha ha!
