But gummint is different, they’re got loads of job protection just by being civil service employees and they know they aren’t going to get fired unless they screw up bigly. Signing “the sentencing filing asking for jail time” for Gen. Michael Flynn (a friend of Ledeen’s).

Holding a leadership role in a women's lawyers networking group that Ledeen criticized as “pro-choice and anti-Alito.”

Not indicting former deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe.

Dismissing charges against “violent inauguration protesters who plotted to disrupt the inauguration.”

Jessie Liu has really done a lot of damage.

Nor do I and perhaps POTUS DJT wanted more than ‘just fired’ as well. Much more difficult in tracking down these jackals if they are no longer in the vicinity. And there is always the possibility one or more will not be found (only to begin the invading cancer cells anew.) Give this some thought. How would you proceed in weeding out the poison ivy while continuing to ‘govern’ the nation? Never knowing who your loyalists might be, a new government elected official, a new government ‘insider’.
