MSNBC's Chris Matthews is under fire after comparing Sen. Bernie Sanders
"I was reading last night about the fall of France in the summer of 1940," Matthews said during MSNBC's live coverage of the caucuses on Saturday. "And the general, Reynaud, calls up Churchill and says, 'It's over.' And Churchill says, 'How can that be? You've got the greatest army in Europe. How can it be over?' He said, 'It's over.'"

Gee, Chris, that comparison seems a little bit hyperbolic. I mean, it’s one thing to call Trump a Nazi, but it looks like comparing Bernie’s campaign to the Nazis will result in calls for you to resign.
I can see why Chris Matthews thought it was okay. He is from the “that with which I disagree is Nazi” school of opinion journalism. He’s been saying stuff like this for decades about Republicans.

My only problem with all is the fact that they are pushing this BS that Bernie is an outlier so if they get one of the others in” it’s fine no worries now we have a reasoned candidate who will be good for American people” when the others are just as bad.
