Democrats have investigated their own claims of President Trump's "collusion" with Russia, his "quid pro quo" with Ukraine, his business holdings, his associates, his advisers, his travel, his appointments and his telephone calls.
Now they insist they'll be investigating his pardons.
For the record, the Constitution allows the president "shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States."
But President Trump's confirmation this week of a handful of pardons and commutations has his opposition party in an uproar. Democrats have claimed his actions have "normalized" corruption.

Obama issued something like 1200 pardons, many of them clearly political. Trump has issued 27.
If DJT is reelected (which he will be), but the Dems retain the House, it’s a near certainty that there will be another impeachment... or two... or three.
The Presidents power of pardon is plenary, end of discussion.

Grimly funny but the leftist media actually would put your first line leading broadcasts for two days, followed by a brief disclaimer "it may have been fake news" a week later at midnight.
Last year, the first day of the CBS Radio news half hour news brief on the Epstein case began "He once was close friend to President Trump and others with fame and power but now Jeffrey Epstein is the target or criminal prosecution." at the first of the indictment stories.
Incredible!!!! He had a smiling picture with Trump at an event he attended in public (as did probably 25,000 others since the 1970s). Clinton made about 25 flights on Epstein's plane to his island! And other big shots, too. Not a word from CBS all that day.
